Gwen Kaufman Nese: A Pleasant Find!

This morning I woke up to see a foot of snow here in State College, PA.  I decided to check the web and see how my hometown of Beavertown had fared this snowstorm.  Lo, and behold, I found a hotlink to this website (Beavertown News) and what a pleasant find! 

I spent a good bit of time looking at the history.  I was thrilled to find a photo of my dad, John "Jack" Kaufman entitled 'Four Boys' and another of my mom, Nancy Bailey Kaufman Scholl, in front of my grandparent's business, Bailey's Restaurant.  Wow!  Great memories!  Thanks for taking the time to post of all of this historical information.

My ancestors came from Beavertown: my grandfather John Sheridan Specht, his mother Agnes Middleswarth, and of course dozens of others before and after.
