The photo, while dark, viewed up close shows all detail fairly clearly. Front row, left to right we find Earl DeLong, Max Saylor, Charles M. Kearns Jr., Catherine Ritter Wray, Margaret McClellen Aigler, Esther Saylor Laudville, Esther Hassinger Aurand, and Josephine Knepp Dauberman. Second row, left to right finds Ethel Bingaman Herbster, Grace Herbster Tobias, Lucinda Spaid Townsend, Charlotte Wetzel Keister, Paul Keister, Edna Bingaman Fetterolf, John Mattern, and Teacher Art Felker. In the year following, many of these students went to the new Beaver Vocational High School.

Answer to Last Month

Harold Hassinger had an orchard in town.

Cornelius Schrader had one near the old brick plant.

Henry Weaver had one around where Jacob Glenny lives on Walnut Street.

Carl Thomas had the last productive one at the east end of town.
