Shown here is the best black and white image of our first motorized hearse used in western Snyder County during the early 1940s. It was the first motorized hearse used in Beavertown and McClure during the day. The original funeral home was built in 1936, then burned down in 1939, was rebuilt toward the end of 1939 and put back in service.
