Another Fun Fact

Beavertown’s own, the Hon. Ner Middleswarth began his awesome political career in 1815 when he was elected to Harrisburg as our local representative on the Whig ticket. He served 13 consecutive terms, (this being a record for any of our local representatives), two of which were as Speaker of the House. In 1848 he was our State Senator, and in 1858 he was elected to the U.S. 33rd Congress!
