Interesting Fact

As we were going to press last month on Friday afternoon, August 29th, there was a visitor to our area worth mentioning.

On Saturday, August 30th, Edna Bailey called to report that a bald eagle was positively identified sitting on the top of a tree in Jim Etzler’s field just to the north of the Mattern development on Friday the 29th.

How about that! Our national bird in Beavertown!
